Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Sydney Barbers collects, why we collect it and what we do with it. Sydney Barbers is run by Sydney Barbers Headquarters Pty Ltd (ACN 701 520 274).

What we collect

When you book, call, email or message us, we keep what you give us. Usually that is your name, mobile number and email address, and anything you tell us about the cut you want.

If you ask about the Sydney Barbers Academy, we also keep what you tell us about your experience and the course you are interested in.

Bookings

Online bookings are made through Fresha. Fresha collects and holds your booking details under its own privacy policy.

This website

This website has no contact form and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the site.

How we use it

We use your details to take and manage bookings, answer your questions, run the Academy and reply to reviews. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Our Google profiles

We use Google Business Profile tools, including an internal tool connected to the Google Business Profile API, to read and reply to reviews on our own Google profiles, keep our opening hours up to date and see how many people find us. We only access the business profiles we manage. Information we receive from Google is used only for those purposes, is not shared with anyone else and is not used for advertising.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Keeping it safe

Your details are kept in our booking system, email and phones, and only the people who need them can see them. We keep information only for as long as we need it for these purposes.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@sydneybarbers.com.au. If you are not happy with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
